South Carolina Peaches

They are back and only for a limited time!

South Carolina Peaches are back in season and back on our menu. Our state is the second largest producer of peaches in the country, weighing in at 50,000 tons a year. Not only do we produce more than Georgia, but we also named the peach our state fruit in 1984 (discoversouthcarolina.com).

Our South Carolina Peaches dish serves the peaches in wedges over whipped goat cheese and is topped with candied pecans and watercress. This plate is on our menu as a starter but we think it fits just as well under the dessert section to close out a perfect summer night.
